Happy November! Is it just me, or did October feel like a dream? The year is going by so quickly, fashion trends don't even have time to realize a new season is upon us. Stacked bracelets have been on trend for the better part of this year, and they aren't making an exit anytime soon. More for the young than the young-at-heart, I credit this trend to bringing watches back. Remember the days of, "A watch? That's what I have my phone for."
|F21 Bracelet (Similar) // GLBTQ Ally band // Marc by Marc Jacobs watch|
My wrists are extremely small, so I always have a problem when it comes to finding great arm candy. Leather-band watches require DIY holes, watches with links reduce their link count by half, and fashionable bangles fall right off. If you have a similar problem, I recommend purchasing the stretchable bracelets....you know, the ones that remind you of childhood beaded string days? Yeah. I have practically tossed all of my old bracelets once I picked up the spiked, stretchy one from Forever 21.
This is my favorite arm candy combination because it's clean with a small pop of color. My MbMJ watch is an everyday item, and I added the spiked bracelet for edge. I bought the GLBTQ Ally bracelet on campus with one of my friends and recently found it while moving things around my apartment, so I'm back to keeping it on my wrist. The bands came in different colors, which all had different meanings. The purple band is for straight people with gay friends or family to wear. You can shop the look below, but I suggested an 'I [heart] Boobies' band in place of the GLBTQ bracelet because I'm not sure where to find the exact band online. Either way, it's still supporting a cause while staying fashionable!
